The telecom service providers have been under the fire from free SMS services that +Huddle aims to offer. The end users who sign up for Google+ will be able to use the +Huddle utility for sending free group messages to their friends on the go. Within few clicks the end users will be able to send bulk messages at the blink of their eye. And what’s even best is that it will be for free of cost. The users who are waiting for Google+ invite need to wait more as Google has stopped the beta version of the service. They need to wait till the service is made available in the full mode.

SMS services are charged at higher rates and especially special (and even higher) rates apply for sending International SMS’. In case your friends or family members are settled abroad then it might leave hole in the pocket. With Google’s solution the end users will be able to send any number of messages across the globe for free! The move from Google might throw service providers out of the business if they don’t innovate. The end users should act methodically while leveraging from the solution initially and ideally wait for initial reviews from the early adopters.

The solution from Google+ has already given heads-on competition to the SMS service providers. The adoption level amongst the tech geeks and value centric consumers will be faster than the apprehensive customers. However, it might take a time scale of at least 5 years for +Huddle to completely replace SMS. These are also facing threat from iOS 5’s iMessage feature that will allow end users in sending free messages to iOS users. The SMS era is soon to hit the history books and telecom service providers must redefine their solution for being more competitive in the market.

The 7 inch tablet makers primarily Samsung, Blackberry and HTC anticipated on outnumbering iPad across the globe. However, to their misfortunes the end users have not found much value in these tablets. One of the major drawbacks of the 7 inch tablet is the compact design. The compact display does not accommodate the finer details and provides low quality of user experience. The other prime aspect that makes it a disadvantageous proposition is the low battery capacity. The 7 inch tablets last for 3 to 4 hours when apps or videos are used at intermediate time events with limited break. As a result, the battery gets drained out without the users leveraging from the features for a long period of time.

Some of the 7 inch tablets such as Samsung Galaxy 7 inch tablet have no 3G enablement on the device. As a result, the users have to stay content with the Wi-Fi capabilities of the device. With limited capabilities on hand the users often complain of lack of features on the 7 inch tablets. The lack of proper cases for this tablet segment has made the life of the end users even more difficult. The primary selling point for these tablets has been their portability but iPad somehow still remains to be as the prime option amongst one and all.

The platform installed on 7 inch tablets is generally android and have stability issues. The 10 inch tablets are preferred than the compact versions by tech geeks and analysts. Therefore, adhere from 7 inch tablets and look to invest in 10 inch versions. After all at the end of the day you will like cherishing from a better usability experience than the low quality tablet on the go. If budget allows go for iPad or stay put for some time.

The plethora of tablets has hit the international markets over a span of year. However, their myopic focus and lack of innovation have made iPad an undisputed leader in the tablet segment. One of the major factors that has attributed to the success of the tablet is the robust app support. The App store offers comprehensive apps segmented across categories and offer paid or free options for end users to choose from on the fly. The App store also offers a fair platform for developers to earn from their custom made apps than on Android Market. iOS platform is more stable than WebOS and Android platforms. Even after being a popular operating system in the segment it is not susceptible to security glitches.

iPad Cases and cutting edge accessories further enhance its overall utility. The end users can plug it to TV and LED’s and leverage from large size view without any hassles. It has emerged as best breed portable device in its segment in no time at all. Most of the tablets have almost little to no information about the respective device at the time of launch. However, iPad has been one such revelation that had several thousands of feeds even before its maiden launch.
Its size, display and portability aspects are just perfect for a tablet. It was benchmarked by other tablet manufacturers such as Samsung, Blackberry and Sharp for rolling out their own versions. The new iOS 5 will further push up the overall ante of the device by offering iMessage and iCloud services to the end users for free of cost.
The tablet market will eventually become more competitive in 2012 and one can expect better functionalities in the next release of iPad. Therefore, get going and always invest in iPad even though you might consider other tablets closely.

The new social frontier is positioned to offer better services than Facebook has ever offered. The service aims at segmenting friends with its +Circles proposition allowing a user to share or hide data as desired. The smarter integration with mobile and other multi channel interfaces makes it ideal bait against Facebook. The Google+ services will also offer free text message center with +Huddle solution when launched fully. At the moment the Google+ invites are not allowed and the beta version is already over capacity. The full fledged solution from Google is expected to be launched by fall of 2011.

The number of users logging on to Google is higher than any other site and as a result every product offered by Google automatically becomes a mass solution. However, there is no denial to the fact that Google Buzz has been a fiasco service from their service line but Google+ offers an innovative solution. The Facebook users are bugged from the Blue and White theme based navigation. The end users are seeking better and newer social solution with new outlook. Google+ aims to offer innovative service to the end users with a new touch.

Facebook is becoming increasing susceptible to spams and fraudulent activities. Google’s integrity is perhaps best in the industry and they have intolerable policies for countering spams. Google+ services aim at segmenting the information and social possibilities in the form of spheres:

+Circles – For managing friends

+Sparks –  For Chatting with like minded socialites

+Hangouts – For Video Conferencing

+Mobile – For Mobile Uploads

+Huddle – For Group Messaging

Google+ stands to offer intriguing service components to the end users and therefore Facebook should push up the ante to hold its front in the long run.

Samsung has again challenged Apple’s supremacy in tablet segment by launching second version of its Galaxy tablet. This time round Galaxy Tablet from Samsung has two distinct versions – Galaxy 10.1 Tab and Galaxy 8.9 Tab. The end users should act in a rational manner and read through online reviews to double check if they really wish to invest in Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tab. However, the projected iPad killer has its own set of limitations which are highlighted as below:

Camera – The official rumors suggested enablement of a 5 MP frontal camera and an 8 MP rear camera on the Galaxy 10.1 Tab. However, the actual look under featured – a 2 MP frontal camera and 3.15 MP rear camera.

Bulky Design – When compared with iPad 2 the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tab lacks the luster and is bulky in overall design too. The height, width and depth transitions of Galaxy 10.1 Tab are 256.6 X 172.9 X 8.6 mm while that of an iPad 2 are 241.2 X 185.7 X 8.8 mm. Although it is just marginally thinner than iPad but less narrow across the board. Hence, it has poor portability aspect associated with it.

You can’t use Skype on Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tab – The early users of the tablet have indicated their inability of using Skype on the tablet. For some strange technical reason the stored procedures does not provide video calling via Skype. The prime question is then why is the frontal cam enabled on Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet?

No Cases Yet For Tablet – Unlike iPad, finding a cushioned and official case for Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tablet would be a tough nut to crack for the end users. They need to safely keep it in the box itself for initial some time till they find an alternative solution. What’s even more annoying is that an iPad case will not fit Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet
